The Monastic Life of the Camaldolese Benedictines (book)

SKU: d9bf131fcec0 Category:

This small but informative book describes the Camaldolese congregation of Benedictine monasticism. Both in life and practices, as well as origin and philosophy, the very small Camaldolese congregation (less than 100 world-wide) is described clearly and factually. Text by Fr. Thomas Matus, a Camaldolese monk currently living at the hermitage in Big Sur, California.

Due to the well-publicized storms that have damaged the California Central Coast roadway system, we are unable to ship items from the Hermitage at this time, because of road closures. We will reopen this online shop once the roads open up and delivery trucks are able to reach us. We do not have an estimated time for this; it depends on Mother Nature and the progress of road repairs. Please check back here on a weekly basis for any updates. We thank you for your support and prayers. Since we are unable to welcome guests here during this road closure, our main source of supporting ourselves has been taken away. If you care to make a tax-deductible donation to help, your gift, large or small, would be received with gratitude and thanks. Please go to to learn more on how to donate. Blessings to you.
